HealthMy name is Sarah Jhonson, and writing these words is one of the hardest things I have ever had to do.
Since the day my daughter, Alliyah, was born, my life has been devoted entirely to caring for her. She lives with a severe condition that has caused a massive growth on her head. Watching my little girl grow up facing so many challenges breaks my heart every single day.
While other children are running, playing, and discovering the world, Alliyah faces struggles that no child should ever have to endure. Every day is filled with constant care, medical appointments, uncertainty, and hope that one day she will receive the treatment that could change her life.
As a mother, there is no greater pain than watching your child suffer while knowing you cannot provide everything she needs. I do everything I can to care for her with all the love in my heart. I feed her, comfort her through the difficult moments, and try to hide my tears so she never loses hope. But when the day comes to an end, I often find myself wondering how we will make it through another tomorrow.
The cost of medical consultations, diagnostic tests, medications, transportation, daily necessities, and ongoing treatment is far beyond what our family can afford. Every new medical appointment brings another financial burden that feels impossible to overcome.
More than anything, I want my daughter to have the opportunity to receive the medical care she deserves. I dream of seeing her live with less pain, more comfort, and the hope of a brighter future.
Today, I am putting my pride aside and opening my heart. I never imagined I would have to ask for help, but a mother will do absolutely anything to save her child.
