HealthHello, my name is Patricia, and I write this with my heart in my hands because I'm going through a pain I no longer know how to bear.
I am a mother, a humble and hardworking woman, and I am fighting thyroid cancer with lung metastasis. This disease is consuming me little by little, and every day I wake up afraid I won't have the strength to keep going.
The pain is unbearable. My chest and my whole body hurt, I can't catch my breath, and there are moments when the suffering is so intense that I faint. I need to take twelve ampoules of morphine a day to cope, but sometimes the pain seems stronger than the medicine.
I've gone days without being able to take my morphine because I don't have money to buy it. There have been days of crying, despair, and prayers, because I don't know what else to do.
As if my own suffering weren't enough, my older son is also sick. He suffered a serious infection in the retina of his left eye and lost vision on that side. The doctor warned there could be lasting effects. As a mother, hearing that destroyed me.
I am fighting cancer and at the same time watching my son suffer without being able to give him everything he needs. My body hurts, but my soul hurts too.
I need help to buy morphine and other medicines, pay for appointments and treatments, and help my son with the care of his eye.
Any donation can ease my pain and give me strength to keep fighting. If you cannot donate, share our story and leave a prayer for me and my son. God bless you with all my heart. 🙏💔
