HealthMy name is Amelia Collins. I am 23 years old, and I am a single mother to two little girls who depend entirely on me.
Recently, my life changed in an instant when I found out that I have cancer.
Doctors believe it is a low-grade fibromyxoid sarcoma. I now face radiation, surgery, scans, biopsies and possibly more treatment in the months ahead.
Because of my illness, I had to stop working. At the same time, I still have two young daughters to feed, house and care for while facing the growing costs of medical appointments, treatment, surgery, transportation and recovery.
Their father is not present in their lives.
I am all they have.
The hardest part of this battle is not the pain, the hospital visits or even the financial stress. It is the fear that I may not be here to watch my daughters grow up.
I am terrified of dying and leaving my little girls without their mother.
I want more birthdays with them. More bedtime hugs. More school mornings. More years to love them, protect them and be their mom.
Any donation will help me cover our basic living expenses and the costs of treatment while I am unable to work.
If you cannot donate, please share my story or keep my family in your prayers.
I am not only fighting cancer. I am fighting for the chance to stay alive and raise my two little girls. ❤️
